You really can do this yourself, and it doesn’t have to be expensive. It’s been #1 for years, but it’s not what you might think.

If you guessed kitchen, bathroom, windows, or deck you are on the right path. Bu the number one return on investment is an entry door. And has been for quite a few years. Surprised?

The reason is partially curb-appeal, which is somewhat obvious. The other reason is associated cost/benefit. You can install a good quality entry door for as little as $300.00. Add custom features and still keep the cost below $500.00. Step up to fiberglass, which can be pre-stained or painted interior and exterior for under $1000.00 Don’t want to DIY it? Install costs are pretty reasonable.

So, before you start planning and saving for that expensive kitchen or bath make-over, consider a quality entry door. You also receive the added benefit of energy efficiency and reduced maintenance.

If you are concerned about a new door matching the style of your home, you can add many custom features and styles. New entry doors suitable for any style of home are available. The cost may increase, but you can easily maintain the integrity of your home.
