As you are out shopping
for a new bed,
you find one you really like.
It’s stylish, comfortable
and surprisingly affordable,
but as you tell the salesperson
you want to buy it,
you are hit by the sudden
and undeniable realization
that THIS is your death bed.
The vision doesn’t tell you WHEN you’re going to die, so it could be the day after the bed is delivered or 50 years from now. The only thing you know for SURE is that if you buy this bed you are definitely going to die in it someday.
Do you still buy it?

.
Given that I already know I’m guaranteed to die someday, so buying this bed is not a deciding factor in that, and given the potential alternative, and often less desirable places to die, yes, I would buy this bed. What you’re actually asking is, ‘Would you like to die in your own bed?’ Wouldn’t most people wish to die in their own bed, given the option?
Sounds like a comfy way to die, I’d go for it. Also with the whole “little death” metaphor I probably wouldn’t be able to resist.
No way I’d buy that bed. That’s just tempting fate. I’d just buy a different one. I read somewhere that most accidental deaths happen within the home. So I moved….
“I read somewhere that most accidental deaths happen within the home. So I moved”
Thats L.O.L. funny!
