Midnight skies are often illuminated by trillions upon trillions of some of the most awe-inspiring, breathtaking and anticipated incandescent lights in our atmosphere; most, if not all of us, accept their existence as being miracles of nature, however; we simply refer to them as “stars.”

For centuries our stars have not only been a navigator’s best friend, they continue to shower us with stupendous “light-shows” i.e., shooting stars, extra-terrestrial visions and conversations, and inadvertent movements that are lovingly described as twinkles. There is something about those twinkles that often causes us to romanticize, to seek companionship and to seize the moment while expressing our compassion and desires. These twinkles also inspire us to use an exhaustive list of other adverbs and adjectives to describe their beauty and the beauty of those we love and or admire. This cadre’ of twinkles produces many, unexplained formations and shapes; further enhancing our imaginations as to their prominence. Astronomers have given a kind of “re-birth” to these magnificent gases by giving them names, a few of which are listed here; i.e., the big dipper, Pegasus, Canis Major, Lyra, Scorpius.
The world continues to marvel at what is certainly one of the wonders of this universe; the “light-shows” of our dancing stars, the toons that we hum and sing as the fingers of the rain, strum the strings of the heart’s guitars, carefully tickling the brain’s neurons, signaling and eliciting romantic responses, creating an atmosphere that is unequivocally and indelibly set by the rain.
They both seem to ignore and to dare their “brother-moon” to compete, as he boldly, shows his spectacular light to the world as he introduces himself and continues his plight as being the earth’s only permanent natural satellite.
The moon sits on a perch and quietly observes the interplanetary interactions as he knows that he and he alone is the earth’s only Permanent natural satellite, his gases are eternal, his pilot cannot be blown out, no tsunami, tornado, windstorm, lightning storm, nor a shift in gravity can remove his presence.
After the storms and torrential rains dissipate, prompting beautiful rainbows to cascade across our horizons bringing forth colorful spheres of warm and inviting lights, do we search for that “pot-of-gold” accompanied by a little green Leprechaun, do we ever find the end of those rainbows?
Did we view the storms as an ominous inconvenience, rather than ceasing the opportunity to enjoy the rainbows, laughing underneath the stars, walking barefoot in the rain by ourselves or with the ones we love, did we have thoughts of tap dancing on the surface of the moon, singing out of tune as we struggled to remember the lyrics, did we contemplate becoming human guitars, pretending to strum our favorite song(s) on our abdomens, turn our table tops into pianos as we tapped the melodies of the music resonating in our heads because our brains are stuck on replay?
The elements could very well be present to give us a blueprint of life, no one really knows how or why we appeared, we believe certain things, we argue about certain things, we become angry and get angry with others about certain things, we pout and quit communicating with friends and loved ones about certain things, we refuse to accept other’s opinions and viewpoints about certain things, we theorize and attempt to make OUR theories FACT, some have even been known to take the live’s of others because their views of life were different, however; the question will always remain, how did ANY of this become . . . ?
This is not a challenge to anyone’s belief’s, nor is it an indictment of anyone ‘s ideas, and ideals. However, as we continue to unearth unknown kingdoms, unknown civilizations, and unknown animal species that are not presently known to “modern man”, the question: how did ANY of this become . . . is simply, a question without an answer.
