When change knocks your door, embrace it. Don’t feel inconsistent. Don’t feel like cheating on yourself.
Don’t mind even if other people say there is a gap between your words and actions. This is normal when you are in transition. Till you reach to the peak again.
This is life, this is the path, this is movement.
The movement must not stop. The path has many directions. Life has its own episodes.
You will always change. Yield to it. Don’t stand against it. That will only bring pain. The pain of being stuck in your previous self.
You have many selves. Many faces. Many words. Many personalities. Which all belong to different episodes.
. . .
Don’t let your previous self and new self fight each other. Don’t hold them both at the same time.
Don’t have two selves just because you are incapable to let the previous one go away.
Let it go, let it transform, let it turn a brand new one.
. . .
Then start again, from the beginning. Explore it. Go deep, to its deepest edges.
Enjoy the discovery. Enjoy the hesitation. Enjoy the moment you realize your decision-making frame has changed. And you are yet to define the parameters.
Discover your new priorities, discover your new downsides, discover your new strengths.
Define it. Accept it. Embrace it.
Love it a lot. More than anything. Within everything belongs to it.
With every flaw and beauty.
. . .
But don’t get attached when you reach the peak of your new self. When you define everything about it and have no doubt left about its algorithm. When you reach the highest possible level of self-awareness. Once again. When you have the power.
The power comes from the awareness, comes from the known, comes from the familiarity.
When you feel so so belong to the episode of your life. When the respective episode and respective self get integrated. Like two circles match each other perfectly.
Don’t get addicted to your new self.
Because one day, this self will also be gone.
Because there must be space for the next one.
