A hundred Dads will give you a hundred different pieces of advice. That’s the great part about being a Dad, you get to carve your own path. This video sums up my top ten now.
Before I had a child I thought I’d be the greatest parent the world had ever seen. I looked at how my parents raised me and had a list of about 1,000 things that I’d do different. The first night I spent with my baby girl and she didn’t sleep a wink, I wanted to tap out. I had never been so sleep deprived in my life by the end of the second week. And she was supposedly an easy baby.
Maybe my parents weren’t so bad afterall.
There are some things people tell you about parenting that turn out to be accurate. Then there are other things you wonder what b-roll magazine they pulled it from. But this video sums of some really good pieces of advice. Or at least, things you wish you’d known before you became a dad.
