6, 7, and 13 – I don’t agree. And I do think it’s fine to have a principled, non-attacking debate on the Internet. Unfortunately, in this post-Deborah Tannen age, many people feel personally attacked if you disagree with their ideas. I’ve seen people elevate non-attacking disagreement to “hate speech,” when it’s disagreement with PC ideas, too.
I dont understand people who say…dont read the comments. Hello, the commentaries are the best part, they are often even more interesting than the article itself. My advice is instead, READ THE COMMENTARIES and COMMENT. But avoid and ignore the trolls.
The comments are almost always better than the article.
