“Gratitude can transform common days into Thanksgiving, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.”
William Arthur Ward
Fear can sink in and corrupt our relationships, self-worth, mindset and so much more. Ever had that feeling of being on edge? The nagging, sinking feeling that things aren’t quite right? The feeling of avoidance: running from conflict in a relationship? All of those things represent fear/anxiety… if this is you and you feel this way about your life, current situation, relationship whatever it is: I challenge you to get grateful!
You can break the cycle of fear/anxiety by the practice of gratitude! If you’re stuck with the feelings of relationship discontent- try fixating on all of the things that your partner does that you can be thankful for! If you’re struggling with self-doubt/anxiety about the things to come: Write out a list of the qualities that you love about yourself and celebrate your uniqueness. If you’re discontent with life and the hand that you’ve been dealt: Make the shift into gratefulness.
Take a moment to be thankful today for 3 things/people/ personality traits/ whatever comes up for you at this moment and watch your mind shift toward a different perspective regarding where you are and what you are going through. Just give it a try!
